Started skating at the age of nine at Lakewood Ice Arena, Tacoma, Washington.
Competed Pacific Northwest Championships and qualified for Pacific Coast Championships Intermediate Ladies Level 1973 through Senior Ladies Level 1978.
Passed Pre-Gold Dances 1976 & Gold Figure and Free Style Test 1977.
Started teaching in 1978. Have many Ice Skating Institute and Northwest champions and competitors. Have trained skaters from Pre-Alpha through Passing Senior (Gold) Freestyle, and Senior Moves In The Field.
Taught Pacific Coast, Adult Nationals and Junior Olympic competitors.
Senior rating with Professional Skaters Association and Level III Coach.
Gold Certified Judge with Ice Skating Institute. Member of United States Figure Skating Association for 16 years.
Continuing education with annual Professional Skating Association/Ice Skating Institute Seminars and attends World Conferences.
Have taught in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years.
